Todd Kamps joined Colburn Hundley, Inc. as an equal partner in June of 2004. Kamps, Jeff Hundley and John Colburn, Jr. comprise the ownership of Colburn Hundley, Inc.

Prior to joining Colburn Hundley, Inc., Kamps spent 11 years with Investment Property Associates as its Vice President of Brokerage and an investor/partner in several real estate developments.

Kamps' former company, Powerquest Boats (formerly Power Play Boats) was begun in August of 1983. As a manufacturer of fiberglass runabouts and sport boats, Powerquest grew to a multi-million dollar business that today has dealers throughout the United States and many foreign countries. Mr. Kamps sold his interest in Powerquest and resigned his position there in 1993.

In addition to his position as an associate broker, partner, Mr. Kamps is also an investor. In these capacities, as well as in his previous endeavors in manufacturing, he has learned a great deal about the needs and requirements associated with sales, business brokerage, manufacturing, and development. His firsthand experience continues to be of great value to the clients he serves through Colburn Hundley, Inc.

During his Real Estate career, Mr. Kamps has had the opportunity to work in many different areas of real estate including business brokerage, multi-family properties, retail, commercial, industrial, development, build-to-suit facilities and multiple office facilities. His experience also includes working with the needs of every size of business from the smallest of users to national tenants.

Mr. Kamps has successfully completed the intensive course work and required practical experience necessary for designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of a graduate level curriculum and attainment of a specified level of qualifying experience. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing 1,000 markets throughout the world. Only eight percent of all commercial real estate professionals hold this designation. He received his CCIM designation in May of 2000.

Mr. Kamps has increased his network of contacts by membership in numerous organizations and by serving on several committees. He is 2004 past President of the Michigan CCIM Chapter. He also served on the Board of the Association of Commerce and Industry in Grand Haven, and is past Vice President of First Priority of the Lakeshore, a youth-based Christian organization. He is a member of both the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors and the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors and is an active member of the National Association of Realtors.

Mr. Kamps and his wife reside in Spring Lake, Michigan with their two children. They are members of the Ferrysburg Church where Mr. Kamps chaired the Expansion Committee.
